A useful daily feeding plan needs a clear timetable and a separate decision about portions. Start with the shape of your day, add meal breaks and chosen activities, and leave space for your dog’s normal routine.
The planner below uses your chosen durations. Its chart keeps time in minutes throughout, and every activity appears in the exported timetable.

Make the units mean the same thing
Times of day, minutes spent eating and grams of food answer different questions. They should not be plotted as if they were interchangeable measurements. This planner allocates time; the meal planner calculates food quantities.
Choose a workable daily window
Enter when the day starts and when the night rest window begins. The tool can handle a window that crosses midnight. Add the number and duration of walks, training sessions and meal breaks you have chosen.
Understand the spaces between activities
The available time left over is distributed between the planned blocks. It remains labelled as unscheduled or a rest opportunity. The tool does not assume that your dog sleeps through all of it.
What if the plan is too full?
You will be asked to change the activity durations or day window. The planner preserves every requested session and does not silently overlap or shorten them to force an answer.
Take the timetable with you
The CSV includes each activity’s start, end, duration and elapsed position within the 24-hour cycle. Edit the suggested times to fit your household. Your veterinary or training professional can help choose suitable activity levels for the individual dog.
For food quantities, save a separate seven-day meal plan. Keeping portions and timing distinct makes it easier to change one without confusing the other.
